The game is free

HIVEMIND is free to play at hive-mind-game.com and hive-mind-game.netlify.app. There are no purchases, subscriptions, or ads.

Open source, MIT licensed

The game's code is open source under the MIT License, © 2026 ErrerLabs (Karl Meves). You may copy, modify, and redistribute it under that license's terms — in short, keep the copyright and license notice, and understand the software comes without warranty. The HIVEMIND name and the hive-mind-game.com site remain ErrerLabs'.

No warranty

The game and this website are provided "as is", without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We don't guarantee the site will always be available, that saves will never be lost (they live in your own browser — see the privacy policy), or that the bees will survive your beekeeping.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ErrerLabs and Karl Meves are not liable for any damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the game or this website.

Fair use of the site

Don't attack, overload, or attempt to disrupt the site or its hosting. That's it.

Real beekeeping

HIVEMIND is a game. It's grounded in real beekeeping, but it is not beekeeping instruction — consult a local beekeeping association before acquiring forty thousand stinging dependents.

Changes

If these terms change, the updated version will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the updated terms.
